PAL network is conducting a common numeracy assessment for children (age 5 to 16) across all of its member countries. As a member of PAL Network, IIDedu is going to conduct the common assessment survey in one district of Bangladesh by the end of this year.
To assist the common assessment, PAL network organized the ‘Common Assessment Development and Consensus Building Workshop’ in Limuru, Kenya from 29th July to 1st August, 2019 both to develop capacities of the members countries to carry out the assessment and to ensure that assessment results are compatible across countries. Through the workshop, 13 member countries collaboratively finalized the questionnaire, sampling method, assessment framework and quality control mechanism for the common assessment.
In the four day long residential workshop, teams from all 13 member countries have collaboratively finalized the questionnaire, sampling method, assessment framework and quality control for the common assessment.
