The Manthan Award winning program ‘Hello MP!’, an unique ICT based program, uses a laptop with internet to connect the grassroots with Members of Parliament and enable discussion. The initiative, also called ‘Gramalap’ (গ্রামালাপ) in Bangla, uses mobile phone calls for uninterrupted voice communication, given the poor internet connectivity of some rural and remote areas.
