Education research, infrastructure development in hard to reach areas, recreational better financial package for teachers and education professionals came out to be the most important areas to be considered for increased financing from the government at an undialogue style discussion among the education experts and activists.
As part of the joint education advocacy campaign, BRAC, CAMPE and IID organised a workshop on Education Financing to identify the issues regarding adequacy, source and areas of funding for educational development. The workshops took place on 22 October 2014 at the BRAC Center Conference Room.
Findings of the workshop will be used in formulating the Position Paper of the campaign which will be shared in a national seminar among the high level policymakers and actors of the education sector.
