IID is on the team representing Bangladesh at the Australia Awards South and West Asia Regional Alumni Workshop 2016, titled ‘Education for All’. The workshop is being held on the 17th and 18th of November in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Altogether 42 alumni from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka working in inclusive education are representing their countries and participate in the workshop. The workshop provides alumni with an opportunity to broaden their knowledge and understanding of inclusive education policies and practices in the region, and expand their professional networks.
Australia Awards are prestigious international scholarships offered by the Australian Government to the next generation of global leaders for development. Through study and research, recipients develop the skills and knowledge to drive change and help build enduring people-to-people links with Australia.
