Based on the opinion of the civil society leaders, IID & WARBE DF developed this 10 point agenda, which will be taken to the 11th GFMD summit. As Bangladesh goes to the Global Compact of Migration which would be adopted by UN member states at Marrakesh in Morocco early December.
WARBE Development Foundation organised the consultation on “National Consultation on GFMD 2018 & Global Compact of Migration” on 20th November 2018, where civil society members, migrant rights campaigners and senior officials of the government laid emphasis on protection of migrants through multilateral approaches under Global Compact of Migration.

IID partnered with WARBE Development Foundation to prepare the 10 point agenda from the civil society, present at the event. In the coming days, this 10 point agenda will also guide the civil society in playing a greater role in the implementation of GCM following its adoption in Morocco.
