Antara Tasmeen

Research Associate

Antara Tasmeen works as a Research Associate at IID. She has completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Law with a minor in Economics from BRAC University, Dhaka. She got her Master of Laws (LLM) in International Human Rights Law and Practice from the University of York, York, United Kingdom, and then a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Globalisation and Development from SOAS, University of London, United Kingdom. Her area of research interest includes human rights law, post-colonial development, globalization, environmental law, international organizations, and securitization. She has been practicing in the legal profession for three years before joining IID.
