Kazi Ferdous Pavel

Deputy Director, Research

Kazi Ferdous Pavel works as a Deputy Director, Research at IID. In his role at IID, Pavel is responsible for leading the organisation’s education research team. He has also been working closely with IID’s Migration Policy Unit in implementing, monitoring and evaluating the organisation’s migration projects. In addition to his work in research, he also oversees IID’s audio-visual communication team.

Pavel holds a master’s degree in Mass Communications from Liverpool John Moores University. His research interests include education and learning assessment, early childhood education, the future of education, educational policy-making, migration policy, contemporary media narrative, and political and crisis communication.
