IID has recently signed a research contract with the University of California, Berkeley to conduct two nation wide surveys in Bangladesh to understand the income and expenditure patterns of small loan receivers.
The baseline and end-line surveys will cover approximately 4000 respondents during each survey. As usual, IID will conduct this as paperless survey with hand-held tabs which improves accuracy of information, timeliness, and cost-efficiency.
IID has already initiated the task and it is estimated that the first phase of surveys will be completed by Mid June, 2016 and the second round of data collection will be done by mid January, 2017.
